Editorial Shoot- Roxcii

(Rizz and I) carried out a photoshoot for the label Roxcii (www.roxcii.net), We met Frida (the designer) at the FOA cosmetics national costume selection for Miss Universe. One of her dresses will be worn by our Miss Universe Olivia Wells at Moscow for the Miss Universe competition, which is very exciting. It was at that event that she told us she was launching a new catalogue and needed a photoshoot done for the catalogue.

It was my first editorial shoot, There was so many things on our to do list  that needed to be completed prior to the shoot, starting from, metting with the client to discuss number of dresses and the order of the shoot, putting a portfolio together and embedding all  the ideas and clients needs and wants, Picking up dresses from the designer, contacting and emailing different shoe retailers to borrow the perfect shoe for the shoot, (In this case Roxcii wanted Dollhouse), staying up late studying the dresses and mix/ matching accessories with individual dresses at home, visiting to the studio to invent ideas of the backdrop, props, basically planning the set for the editorial shoot. I loved every single bit of it, and i can see myself doing this forever... it was never a dull moment (especially with my partner Riz =)

(Below: At home with the designer dresses i was working with all night long... all the bead work and embelishment was too die for)

(Below: Picking shoes from The Dollhouse it was such a shiny store, it hurt my eye a little bit hehe )

On the day of the shoot- With 2 models, 3 different sets, 36 dresses, with a 2 minute intervals of changing the dresses, accesories and shoes, and after 8 hours of the shoot we finally pulled it off.
